Scored some luxe wedding gown silk scraps from a fabric fairy a couple weeks back and decided to play around with piecing it into a design I concocted. Really beautiful stuff to work with. I ended up stitching in the ditch (though, let’s just say I chose the scenic route in parts; meh, so what!?) and even made a custom pillow for it to be slipcover for.
I could have used a bit more breathing room around the finished design, but overall I’m very pleased with it. I have an ongoing crush with the back fabric I paired it with, so I’m extra happy.
Done and living it up in the living room. Woohoo!
